What a piece of crap software did Gigabyte release and this isn't their first time I'm having issues because of it :\ĪNYONE WITH RGB FUSION INSTALLED, remove it! See your dropped frames come back! Let me know if this helped you, I can finally enjoy VR. The moment I arrived at RGB Fusion the frame drops stopped. so in a last ditch effort to reduce the frame drops I started stopping windows services. I knew the RGB Fusion software uses quite a bit of CPU (1 hour of CPU time over 24 hours of uptime). It does not recognize the GPU of an Intel CPU, which is why it doesnt work. Spending days trying everything I could such as using the SteamVR Beta or upgrading to the latest AMD beta drivers didn't help and I was absolutely at a loss! RGB fusion is a program that has been built to work with AMD and Nvidia GPUs. These are frame drops that are not compensated for by reprojection, so they make you very dizzy after a while because your vision jitters. SteamVR Home was sharp (Auto resolution even set it at 150%) but I had a constant 1-2 frame drop every second. CORSAIR iCUE software can now control your motherboard’s RGB lighting and sync it with the rest of your iCUE-compatible devices and components, beginning with ASUS Aura Ready motherboards. Without this running the LCD screen will not update and the temperature display is frozen.Īnyways I installed and configured my card, set the RGB colour to be less bright and intrusive and put on my VR headset. In order to change the RGB colours or to use the LCD display, you need to install a piece of software called RGB Fusion 2.0. This card is filled with RGB and even has an LCD display on the card to show GPU temperatures in real time (amongst other options). I recently got a brand new RX 6800XT from Gigabyte, the Gigabyte Aorus Radeon RX 6800 XT Master. I'm so annoyed right now, but I had to share this!
